Grapes: Grenache 80%-Syrah 20%
Food aﬃnity: Reﬁned cooking... lamb leg conﬁt, duck, tajines... We just love it with good stews, or any ragouts… thinking about cheese, a St nectaire, or Livarot will match perfectly.
Drinkability: Savor when back home... Or keep 5 to 10 years.
Exposition: On a 400m of altitude vineyard, on a limestone soil, covered by rolled pebbles.
In the vineyard: Without any Insecticide, or Herbicide. The provision in organic fertilizer is strictly reserved to the plot of land concerned and is done in a respectful ground/plant harmony. Green harvest according to the vintage. Morning harvest is practiced.
Winemaking: 12 months maturing in 2 to 4 years old barrels for only 30% of the vintage.
Winemaker Tasting: Its intense and dark color promises a tasty and lovely wine. We notice than the maturity is easily achieved on that fabulous land of Vinsobres. Its bringing beautiful smooth and comﬁt touch on our Vinsobres. The ﬁrst nose is full of small black berries (black-currant, blueberry…), well ripe, tasty, lightly kirsch, but still lovely fresh. Round, ﬁne and elegant, here is the perfect match between southern Grenache and fresh Land.
Incomparable ﬁnes and delicacy Tannins’. We can at the end notice a touch of minerality, typical from our Vinsobres, which combine perfectly purity and elegance. We fall in love
