Suitable for long-term storage in the basement (12-15 years).
Dark rubies color. Full-bodied wine with a taste of flowers and fruits. The younger wine has a violet and cherry flavor. As you age, the taste of iris spices and ripe fruit comes. Later the smell of truffles, musk and game.
Serve at 13-15 ⁰C. All Beaujolais wines are good to open 2 hours before drinking. Decant if possible.
Food: Suitable with pork, beef, poultry and soft cheeses. Often used in highly flavored Asian foods.
