Production area: Domaine Jessiaume owns the largest vineyard holdings in the premier cru Santenay Les Gravières vineyard. The Pinot Noir vines are sourced from the Domaine Jessiaume parcel, 4.76 hectares in size. The soil is limestone, oolite and marl. The age of the vines average from 19 to 89 years of age. Orientation of the vineyard is southeast.
 
Tasting notes: Intense crimson color with aromas of cooked cherry and blackberry, with a hint of spice. The mouth is full and round with a long finish. Will age 8 to 15 years.

Winery: Domaine Jessiaume is owned by the famous Scottish businessman Sir David Murray. The winery has been operating since 1850.
